Build Something That Matters! The Hackaday Prize returns and once again offers a trip to Space to the grand prize winner! This year’s contest focuses on solving a problem faced by a large number of people (healthcare, clean energy, water conservation, agriculture, etc), emphasis on Open Source.
There are rules. Many rules. Entries must be submitted along with 2-minute video and 4 project log updates by mid-day 17 August, 2015, but polishing up an entry earlier gets you community exposure and upvotes before the deadline. As last year, additional videos, project logs, and posted plans/drawings/schematics/code are required of entries that advance to the final stage. My 2014 entry made it to the quarter-finals. I plan to enter again this year and see if I can push a little farther.
The first project has already been submitted. Good luck to all!
