Fabspace in Dayton kicks off monthly 3D Printing Meetups

Fabspace is Dayton’s new Makerspace. Located in the "Old" Yellow Cab building at 700 E 4th St, they are just getting started, but this September they began holding 3D Printing Meetups on the first Wednesday evening of the month (in part so that they don’t overlap with our own CORMUG 3D Printing meetups at the Columbus Idea Foundry on Second Wednesdays). Ryan Plumley of Fabbr.com gave a presentation on how he got involved with 3D Printing, and there were several machines to watch, Ryan’s Replicator 1, a SeeMeCNC Rostock Max (“Deltabot”), Fabspace’s XYZprinting DaVinci 1.0, and my own Thing-o-Matic.

Here are some pictures from that first meetup, 3 September 2014.
